[ It doesn't occur to him until he's already on his way there that he's... nervous? Excited? Thrilled? Some combination of the three? The nerves are definitely overtaking most of it, though, making his steps falter as he tries to inwardly debate over whether he's being too hasty in heading there, and whether she'll know he hurried over here that quickly. But then again, he doesn't want to take his time either and leave her waiting on him, right?
In the end he's pretty sure he gets there first — or maybe they get there at exactly the same time from different parts of the ship, because he walks into the observation room, the viewing shield down so that people can look out and see the view into space, and then it's almost in another breath that he somehow feels her here already.
Obviously he knows it's the Force; the empathy bond isn't strong enough to carry over that distance without them touching, and she's not standing close to him yet, but he watches her, lifts a hand almost awkwardly before shifting to find a place on one of the couches, leaving room for her to sit with him. ]
