[ he shouldn't be touching poe. he'd realized that as soon as he'd make contact with him, because yeah, the other man feels warm beneath the cupping of his palm but there's also something else in it, that unconscious pull wrapped in sincere concern.

because he is worried, at least in part; they're supposed to be focused on the mission but if something's wrong with poe he needs to help him, right? he needs to do what he can to steer them back around.

maybe they just need to get out of this crowd, and as soon as poe suggests diverting to a quiet place he nods, a little too eagerly, hand falling away to his side as he glances around them. ]

[ it hits him then, suddenly and all at once, that he'd follow poe anywhere, anywhere, if it means somewhere quiet and away from the chaos; he's already gravitating into poe's space while his eyes are diverted elsewhere, like his body knows something his mind hasn't picked up on yet. ]

[ when they touch, even in the briefest of moments, it feels like something just clicks. the two of them together. finn walking practically on top of him feels right. (he’d like to close that last millimeter of space. lose the clothes.)

[ it’s not the most ideal scenario. there’s every possibility that someone could come barging in here when they’re... what? pants around their ankles while poe’s got him on all fours over a pile of coats? oh kriff, even the thought of that is leaving him wet and desperate for it, like now it’s suddenly all he can think about, just being spread open and taken regardless of where they are. maybe they can bar the door with something and spend the next few hours in here just —

it’s not a realistic idea but his brain scratches to a halt when poe says that, and he doesn’t want to hope that what he’s hearing is true but all signals are pointing to it being the very thing he wants to hear most. ]

[ he has the sense that it’s only going to be the start of everything, but there’s still that inclination in his body to submit, to let poe take what he wants from him. he’ll yield immediately, but it’s only a matter of waiting to see how long before the tension snaps. ]

[ he's not sure if it's just hormones or if finn means it 100%. he wants to believe, but there's always a smidgeon of doubt when it comes to
omegas. (don't think like that poe, it's rude. just a very rude flavor of denial, tbh. maybe that's part of why he stayed away, too... he decided it just might not be real? like a fool.)

regardless, he takes the cue to gun it with his mouth, going in with a kiss that's hard, messy, and a good percentage of teeth.

but he can't stop there. while his mouth is doing that, his hands wander down to finn's pants, grasping and fumbling until they find a closure to work down. finn offered him a snack and he took the whole kitchen, but also — ask him if he cares. alpha hormones are behind the wheel now. ]
