It was over a year ago. Turned out they weren't even from Duplicity, but this adjacent city where the rules were stricter. Eventually the LIEs officials helped US kick THEM out.

There's not much there now. But if you ever hear the name Veracity, that's what happened.

It's probably why most of Veracity's citizens fled for here when they could.

There's always a case of something worse out there.

As far as I know. I can't imagine there are that many people even still living out there.

Most of it's shut down, from what I know. Or whatever happens to a city when most of the people living there just abandon it.

Well, that's the thing. Clearly parts of it are still running, but maybe just a fraction of what it used to be.

So someone's keeping the lights on somehow.
